Our School Traditions

Traditions play a vital role in building a strong sense of community, belonging, and shared identity. They give rhythm to the school year and offer students a chance to contribute to something meaningful beyond the classroom, reinforcing the values of joy, collaboration, and togetherness that define our school culture.

Nights of Wonder

Nights of Wonder are special evenings that invite families into the classroom to experience the joy and depth of student learning. Classrooms are transformed into living galleries filled with projects, artwork, writing, and hands-on displays that tell the story of each student's learning experience. These evenings bridge the connection between home and school and honor the meaningful learning that happens every day in our classrooms.

Self-Portraits

Self-portraits are a powerful tool for self-expression and reflection. When created in simple black and white, the focus shifts from color and decoration to the details of line, shape, and emotion. This simple practice invites children to slow down, observe themselves closely, and present what they see and feel with intention. The self-portrait rhythm nurtures a sense of self-awareness and belonging, key elements of Reggio-inspired classroom culture.
